How E-Tuning Works

How Yosh Tuned E-Tuning Works

Remote e-tuning lets you receive a custom ECU calibration without bringing the vehicle to a shop. The process is completed through calibration files and datalogs using your compatible Hondata or KTuner system.

1. Choose Your Tuning Platform

Select the service that matches the system installed in your vehicle: Hondata FlashPro, Hondata K-Pro/S300, or KTuner. If Yosh Tuned already completed the tune for your current setup and you have since changed major components, use the Existing Customer Re-Tune service.

2. Select Your Vehicle, Setup & Fuel

Choose the options that accurately match the vehicle and current setup. Pricing automatically adjusts based on the selected combination.

3. Complete Checkout

After purchasing, keep your order number available. Your order number helps Yosh Tuned match your vehicle information, datalogs and calibration revisions to the correct tuning service.

4. Complete the Pre-Tuning Checklist

Before datalogging, make sure the vehicle is mechanically sound and ready to tune. Check for fluid leaks, boost or vacuum leaks, fuel-system problems, wiring issues, failed sensors, misfires and other mechanical faults. Complete the Pre-Tuning Checklist before beginning.

5. Receive Your Starting Calibration

Once the required vehicle and setup information has been received, Yosh Tuned will prepare the appropriate starting calibration for your setup.

6. Datalog the Vehicle

Follow the instructions provided with your calibration. Only perform the type of datalog requested. Do not make unrequested wide-open-throttle pulls or continue driving through abnormal knock, lean conditions, misfires, boost-control problems or other unsafe behavior.

7. Send the Requested Datalog

Send the log with your order number and the requested information. Keep communication for the same tuning session together whenever possible so the calibration history is easy to follow.

8. Receive Revisions

Yosh Tuned reviews the datalog and sends calibration revisions as needed. Repeat the requested logging process until the calibration is completed.

9. Final Calibration

Once the required areas of the calibration have been completed, you will receive your final calibration for the setup that was tuned.

Important

E-tuning is a calibration service and cannot repair mechanical, electrical or hardware problems. If a problem prevents safe tuning, it must be corrected before tuning can continue. Do not change fuel type, injectors, MAP sensor, engine components, forced-induction hardware or other major setup items during the tuning process without notifying Yosh Tuned.
