Acura RSX & K24A2 Hondata K-Pro Remote E-Tuning Guide

Looking for an Acura RSX K-Pro tuner, a K24A2 e-tune, or remote tuning for a K20/K24 engine swap? Yosh Tuned offers custom Honda and Acura calibrations for supported Hondata K-Pro configurations, using vehicle information and requested datalogs to develop the calibration through revisions.

Ready to order? Shop the Yosh Tuned Hondata K-Pro / S300 E-Tune and select your setup, fuel, and platform. This is a calibration service; K-Pro hardware is not included.

Acura RSX and K-series remote tuning: what matters?

The 2002–2006 Acura RSX is a popular platform for K-series tuning, including K20A2/K20Z1 applications and compatible K24 conversions. A swap changes more than displacement: it can also change injectors, sensor scaling, cam-angle operating range, intake setup, fuel-system requirements, wiring and ECU compatibility. A custom starting calibration should reflect the specific car—not only the engine name.

Hondata K-Pro compatibility comes first

Before purchasing, identify your actual ECU and Hondata K-Pro version. The Yosh Tuned service includes options for supported K-Pro hardware and separate S300 setups, but Hondata S300 and K-Pro are not interchangeable ECU systems. S300 supports compatible older Honda ECU applications; K-Pro is the relevant Hondata solution for supported K-series configurations.

If you have a K24-swapped RSX or another K-series swap, confirm the ECU, harness, crank/cam signal configuration, injectors, MAP sensor and tuning-device compatibility before ordering. If you aren't sure, email the parts list to tuning@yoshtuned.com.

Naturally aspirated K20 and K24 tuning

For a supported naturally aspirated engine, the combination of intake, header/exhaust, intake manifold, camshafts, fuel and engine condition can affect fuel requirements, ignition efficiency, VTEC operation and variable cam timing. The datalogs help check the engine's actual operation under the requested conditions. No universal ignition or air-fuel target is correct for every build.

Turbo and supercharged K-series tuning

Forced-induction builds introduce additional dependencies: boost-control strategy, wastegate spring pressure, manifold-pressure sensor range, injector data, fuel supply, intercooling and wideband setup. Before any high-load test, the vehicle must be mechanically sound and the relevant safeties and sensors must be configured for the hardware. A tune cannot compensate for inadequate fuel delivery, boost leaks, wiring faults, or abnormal engine behavior.

Gasoline, E85 and flex-fuel setups

Choose the actual fuel type from the supported options on the service page. Running E85 or flex fuel can require changes to fueling hardware and control configuration. Ethanol content, fuel pressure, injector characteristics and sensor data matter during calibration; do not change fuels or engine hardware between revisions without notifying Yosh Tuned.

How the K-Pro e-tuning process works

  1. Buy the correct tuning service. Choose your K-Pro platform, setup and fuel on the product page.
  2. Provide vehicle details. Include year, chassis, engine, ECU, sensors, injectors, modifications, fuel, and power-adder information if applicable.
  3. Receive your custom starting calibration. Verify the requested instructions and upload it with the correct compatible hardware.
  4. Record instructed datalogs. Begin only with the conditions requested. Do not perform wide-open-throttle pulls until specifically instructed, and use a safe, legal setting for any requested testing.
  5. Review and revise. Submit your logs and report drivability or sensor issues. Yosh Tuned develops revisions based on the recorded operation, where applicable.

Frequently asked RSX / K24 tuning questions

Can you e-tune a K24A2-swapped Acura RSX?

A compatible K24A2 swap with appropriate K-Pro/ECU hardware can be eligible. Confirm the exact ECU, wiring, sensor arrangement and vehicle modifications first; not every swap is identical.

Do I need a dyno for custom K-Pro tuning?

Not to exchange calibration revisions remotely. Yosh Tuned uses the requested datalogs and supplied vehicle information, but remote calibration does not itself prove a wheel-horsepower number. Independent dyno or controlled-course validation is separate.

Do you sell a standalone K24 basemap?

No. Yosh Tuned sells a custom e-tuning service that includes a starting calibration and datalog-based revisions, not a separately sold generic basemap.

Is this the same service as KTuner or FlashPro?

No. Use the correct service for your installed ECU tuning system. See Which Tune Do I Need? or the Honda/Acura Remote E-Tuning guide to compare.

Ready to tune your RSX or K24 build? Select your Hondata K-Pro / S300 E-Tune, or send your vehicle details to tuning@yoshtuned.com if compatibility is uncertain.
