Pre-Tuning Checklist

  1. Make sure you are using at least one step colder spark plug in your performance race application. Stock/OEM heat range spark plugs can lead to pre ignition can damage the engine.
  2. Spark plug gap often times needs to be reduced in a forced induction application over the pre set plug gap.  Generally in a forced induction application 0.022~0.028" plug gap works very well. Please consult with Yosh(Joshua) before gapping your spark plugs.
  3. All Cylinders should have good compression before beginning tuning process.
  4. Please check all fluids. Oil and coolant leaks need to be addressed before beginning the tuning process.
  5. Please make sure your battery voltage is 13.5~14v when engine is running.
  6. Please check all your grounds! All exposed wiring must be taken care of before beginning the tuning process.
  7. If your car is forced induction (TURBO/SUPERCHARGED), please ensure all boost leaks have been addressed.
